Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:
- Develop treatment plans, including short and long-term goals, and methods to achieve identified goals.
- Supervise assistants and aides as necessary, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
- Maintain a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients.
- Communicate the patients speech therapy program to the family.
- Maintain written documentation including evaluations, daily notes, and weekly summaries of patients treatments and progress.
Speech Language Pathologist Requirements:
- Must have C's.
- Provide speech language pathology care that complies with organization's best practices, standards, policies and procedures.
- Comply with both federal and state guidelines, including all licensing requirements.
